The Graduate Assistant and Part-Time Assistant are two separate positions. Please indicate clearly which one you are applying for.Under the daily supervision of the head coach, the Graduate Assistant (G.A.) and Part-Time Assistant (P-T) are responsible for assisting with recruitment, retention and the academic success of student athletes. The G.A. and P-T Assistant are expected to affirm, support, and cultivate the Christ-centered mission of Montreat College and the Athletic Department. Both positions will be responsible to maintain compliance with and must have working knowledge of the NAIA, Appalachian Athletic Conference and college rules and regulations.
For both positions: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution is required; extra consideration will be given to candidates with successful recruiting and college coaching experience. The candidate must affirm and support the Christian faith statement of the institution. The candidate must also gain acceptance into the Masters of Science in Management and Leadership (MSML) program of Montreat College.
