Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, a Division 1 and Big Ten Conference Institution is seeking an Assistant Baseball Coach responsible to the Head Coach for performing or assisting with a wide variety of coaching duties in order to accomplish the team's goals and objectives. Responsibilities include; identify, recruit, coach and develop high level athletes for the program; coordinate team travel arrangements in conjunction with Penn State travel services; perform related office duties as directed; and assist with game and practice preparation. This job will be filled as a level 2, or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus one year of related experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Recent Division 1 coaching and/or playing experience is required. Thorough knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules and regulations is required. This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as part of your job responsibilities. A valid driver's license will be required in addition to a motor vehicle records check. This is a fixed-term position with excellent possibility of re-funding.
