Position Title: Group Ticket Sales Account Manager
Status: Full-time, Exempt
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; event hours including weekend and evenings as necessary
Pay Structure: Salary plus annual bonus
JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION Under the general supervision of the Senior Vice President of Ticketing and the Group Ticket Sales Director, the Group Ticket Sales Account Executive will serve as an active member of the Group Ticket Sales team. The Account Executive is responsible for executing a variety of program-related administrative tasks, as well as contributing to the growth of the group ticket sales for all ticketed sports.

Sell football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and softball group tickets.
Sell season tickets, mini plans, and single game tickets for football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and softball.
Cultivate current and past groups and new prospects to generate sales.
Contact area businesses, youth organizations, and other large groups to promote the group ticket program.
Work all home games to service the groups and generate leads through tabling.
Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals.
Promote and solicit special events in the athletics facilities (wedding, birthday parties, corporate meetings).
Provide superior customer service to clients throughout the season

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships
Strong desire to work in college athletics
Ability to appropriately articulate the ticket options via phone call and in-person meetings
Candidates should have a history of success in ticket sales, preferably with a major Division 1 university or professional sports
Candidates should have a minimum of 12 months of sales or customer service experience
Proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office; and internal donor management systems, ticketing systems, and/or CRM a plus
Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekend, holiday, and evening hours
Ability to travel as needed to complete duties and responsibilities
