Responsible for the recruiting, golf instruction and coaching of the Men's Golf program. Will actively participate in alumni relations and fundraising efforts as it relates to the program. Receives general supervision from Assistant Athletic Director. Required to work evenings and weekends as needed.
A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience as a golf coach or golf teaching professional required. Division 1 golf coaching experience preferred. PGA Class A pro status preferred. Candidate must be able to evaluate and matriculate recruits who are academically and athletically qualified. Candidate must be able to assess student-athlete's swing mechanics and provide swing instruction. Candidate must be able to develop a competitive schedule, practice plans, and out-of-season training. Candidate must be able to motivate and counsel student-athletes. Alumni outreach and fundraising required.
