| Clemson University is offering an opportunity for one (1) graduate student considering a career in athletic communications, with a focus on being a designer & digital marketing manager, to serve as a graduate assistant within its Athletic Department. The students will be mentored by the Director of New & Creative Media and Associate Director of New & Creative Media. |
Additional consideration will be given to students with experience using Adobe Creative Cloud solutions (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign) and managing digital platforms (websites, social media accounts, etc.).
Throughout this experience, the student will be provided opportunities to apply concepts and theories from the classroom to an intercollegiate athletic environment. Opportunities include:
Support all design and social/web needs as assigned by the Associate Director of Creative Media and Director of New & Creative Media with specific focus on areas of digital/social media, print/email marketing, facilities and ticketing/fundraising.
Deliverable formats for design include static and motion graphics for digital/social media, print materials and large-scale facility adornment.
Point of contact for external vendors on facility/print materials.
Web and social publishing on official Athletics channels.
Assist with management of 3-4 undergraduate student assistants.
Help maintain and organize logo and visual databases/libraries.
Event responsibilities for in-game coverage.
Assist in planning visual identity and deliverable themes.
