The Ohio State University Department of Athletics is seeking a Women's Gymnastics Head Coach. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing, directing, and coaching an intercollegiate Women's Gymnastics program. Instructs athletes in fundamentals of gymnastics, coaches technique, teaches tumbling/gymnastics moves, choreographs routines. Manages all aspects of the program within Big 10, NCAA and OSU rules, including scheduling, travel, equipment needs, budget, & staffing. Monitors academic progress of student athletes, mentors athletes on academic and athletic issues. Participates in development activities to promote the program.
Coaching and competitive experience in the sport of gymnastics. Considerable coaching experience at the collegiate level and experience coaching female athletes desired. Experience in an NCAA program as a coach or student athlete, and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Position requires working with a diverse student and staff population.
