Education and Experience:
A minimum of five years of work experience as a diving coach is required. USA Diving Safety Certification is also required.
Diving coaching experience at the collegiate level or national level club diving is preferred. Experience as a diver at the collegiate level is desirable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with athletes, recruits, coaching staff and administration. The ability to communicate effectively in writing is required. A strong customer service orientation is essential.
Candidate must have strong problem solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze problems and devise solutions.
Candidate must also possess strong organizational, planning and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. A strong focus on attention to detail is essential.
Candidate must have the ability to conduct analysis for divers performance in workout. Must also have spotting skills for wet and dry training. Dryland progression for divers is essential.
Candidate must have a working knowledge Microsoft Office.
