The Sr. Associate Athletic Director, Development will be responsible for all aspects of the Intercollegiate Athletics’ fund raising activities including the coordination of all annual, major and planned gifts, capital campaigns corporate and foundation giving, and stewardship with a goal of maximizing donations to the department. This position will be responsible for the administration of the Athletics Development staff including operations, budget, and planning and implementation of policies.
As a member of the Executive Staff Leadership Team, the Sr. Associate Athletics Director, Development will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the development staff to maximize contributions from all sources. This position will work closely with the Athletic Director, Executive Team and Campus Leadership, to develop plans, set goals, monitor activities, and prepare action plans along with regular progress reports and overall evaluations of all fundraising activities. The incumbent shall analyze existing fundraising strategies and create innovative and new methods to promote and enhance philanthropic support for intercollegiate athletics from donors/prospects locally, regionally, and nationally. This position will report directly to the Athletic Director and will manage all Development Officers within the Intercollegiate Athletics Department.
