Job Description: Colgate University, an NCAA Division I member of the Patriot League Conference, invites applications for the Diving Coach position for the Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Program.
This is a ten-month position with full benefits for 12-months. Position provides opportunities for additional income during summer months through facility and event management for Lineberry Pool.
Reporting to the Head Coach of the Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving program; the responsibilities will include, but are not limited to assisting the head coach in all aspects of the program; recruiting; training and player development; monitoring student-athlete academic progress; coordinating team travel; and extensive daily administrative duties as assigned by the head coach.
(Education and Experience): A Bachelor's degree is required. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, computer skills and knowledge and commitment to all University, League, and NCAA regulations. A current valid driver's license, in accordance with the University's Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Use Policy is required. A valid and current CPR and First Aid certification is needed.
Additional Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience coaching men's and women's diving or competing at the Division I level is desirable.
A Master's Degree is preferred.
