The Content Development Specialist is responsible for creating engaging and dynamic visual media for the Duke MBB brand as part of the program’s core social media group, as well as assisting the coaching staff with recruiting materials as requested.
Develop social media branding and aesthetics plan for each season
Develop and execute creative video and graphic concepts
Participate in weekly coordination/brainstorming meetings for DukeMBB content
Post daily across DukeMBB social media accounts in coordination with other core group members
Monitor DukeMBB social media accounts for unsuitable and/or inappropriate responses or replies
Remain current with emerging trends in social media and update the core social media group members with the intent to apply them to DukeMBB social media accounts
Remain current with the latest innovations in equipment and/or software and present those findings to the core social media group
Produce recruiting videos and graphics as requested
Assist with recruiting presentations as requested
Assist Director of Basketball Operations and Director of Basketball Technology with various video and operations needs as requested
Education: Undergraduate college degree. One or more years of graphic arts and video experience.

Proficiency in all applicable graphic design and video editing software
Understanding of college basketball and the Duke Basketball culture
