Under general supervision of the Games and Event Manager, the Assistant Events Manager manages all game operations for athletic contests and special events. The incumbent operates within the scope and intent of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Conference and University regulations; assists with the planning, organizing and implementation of game management for 19 sports; assists the Game Manager with the coordination of public safety, officials, strategic communications, marketing and promotions and other event needs; assists in the coordinator of game officials and visiting teams; supervises part time staff and 40 to 75 student assistants; assists with special events; utilizes campus golf cart and vehicle to pick up items and run errands on and off campus as needed; and performs other duties as assigned.
