Head Coach - Men's and Women's Cross Country / Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field
The Department of Athletics at the State University of New York College at Oneonta invites applications for the position of Head Coach - Men's and Women's Cross Country and Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field. This is a full-time, ten-month, non-tenure coaching position with a start date of August 2017. Expectations are to develop exemplary scholar-athletes who strive for competitive excellence, academic achievement, and a commitment to service. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of coaching and managing an NCAA Division III Cross Country/Track and Field program. SUNY Oneonta is a comprehensive, public, liberal arts and sciences college. The College sits at #9 on the 2016 list of “Top Public Regional Universities” in the North published by U.S. News & World Report, and is ranked #175 in the Northeast on the Forbes magazine list of “America's Top Colleges.” SUNY Oneonta is a member of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC), one of the oldest small college conferences in the nation. The College sponsors 21 Division III varsity sports with 23 full-time coaches and support staff including three certified athletic trainers. The Department offers a competitive athletic program that embraces the NCAA Division III philosophy and allows individuals to develop to their fullest potential through superior coaching, teaching, guidance, and support.
