The Tulane Women’s Swimming & Diving program is seeking a graduate assistant. This position reports directly to the head coach. This is a non-coaching graduate assistant position that will be responsible for administrative duties both on pool deck and in the office and gathering statistics during workouts. The candidate will be required to fully comply with all NCAA and The American Athletic Conference rules and regulations. Other duties include:
1. Manage Team Travel; hotel, food, transportation, expense reports (pre and post trip) 2. Assist with official and unofficial recruiting visits on campus including NCAA paperwork 3. Organize recruiting software and keep profiles up to date with times 4. Organize and run HyTek Meet Manager and Team Manager during home swim meets 5. Submit results to the NCAA and USA swimming post home meets 6. Film races during away meets using the "Coaches Eye” app 7. Organize and manage the team Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter social media pages 8. Other administrative duties assigned by the head coach
Exceptional communication skills. Ability to interact effectively and professionally with student/athletes, coaching staff, support staff and athletic department administration.
Strong organizational skills and a strict attention to precise detail
Ability to pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
Current USA swimming coach membership
Must be accepted into a Tulane graduate program

Additional Salary Information: Graduate Assistant term is a minimum of 12 months and can last up to 3 years (depending on academic program). Graduate Assistant will receive tuition/fees, books, meal plan, and a monthly stipend. Candidates will need to be accepted to a graduate program within the university, as well as be enrolled for the fall, spring and summer terms in order to qualify for the stipend.
