Waynesburg University is currently seeking applicants for a full-time Head Football Coach. Waynesburg University is a NCAA Division III program, and is a member of the President’s Athletic Conference. The Head Football Coach will provide leadership in the advancement of a small university football program that emphasizes character development and the academic success of student-athletes. Responsibilities for the position include the overall administration of all phases of a competitive Division III football program. This includes planning and directing the recruitment, conditioning, training, on and off field performance of student-athletes in the Waynesburg University football program. Supervise full-time and part-time staff and graduate assistant coaches. The head coach will develop competitive schedules matching institutional goals and objectives, prepare budget recommendations and manage budgets related to the football program. Bachelor's degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Successful experience in coaching football required. Head coaching experience preferred. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, a commitment to the University's Mission, and a demonstrated commitment to that faith, through his/her professional responsibilities, teaching, relationships and the mentoring of students.
