Job Description: The Head Cross Country/Track Coach is responsible for the overall management of the cross-country program as well as the indoor and outdoor track team. Duties also include training development, effective recruitment and retention, individual skill development of student-athletes, community service, supervision of assistant coaching staff, fundraising, scheduling, and implementing competition strategy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: •Manage and provide oversight for a Division III cross country and track program (Indoor and outdoor.) •Responsible for the recruitment, supervision and coaching of NCAA Division III (National Collegiate Athletic Association) student-athletes, under the guidelines of the Lesley University, NECC (New England Collegiate Conference) and NCAA policies and procedures.
