Required: Master’s degree and 1 year of related experience. Experience working as a certified athletic trainer with athletic teams.
Certified Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification for Athletic Training.
Athletic Trainer License – have or eligible to receive through the State of Iowa Department of Public Health.
Experience providing collegiate athletic training services for NCAA Division 1 Track and Field or equivalent.
Experience providing comprehensive rehabilitation and reconditioning of athletic injuries.
Experience in clinical supervision of athletic training students.
Experience traveling with athletic teams and providing off-site athletic training services.
Knowledge and application of corrective exercise programming for injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
