Under supervision of the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance, the Compliance Coordinator assists in coordinating all aspects of a compliance program in the areas of: financial aid, playing and practice seasons, National Letter of Intent program, competition and practice eligibility, squad lists and roster management, manager & staff designation, outside Competition, and additional responsibilities as assigned by Associate Athletics Director.
This position will support the Associate Athletics Director in the areas of NCAA rules education, NCAA and Big West interpretative process, secondary and infractions reporting, investigating potential violations, and spot checking sport practices; as well as training and overseeing student-workers. The incumbent operates within the scope and intent of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Conference and University regulations; acts as a liaison for the program with the coaches, student-athletes, parents and general public.
Equivalent to two years of full-time experience, preferably in intercollegiate athletics. Bachelor’s degree required, Master's degree preferred.
