PROFILE of the UNIVERSITY

ROLE of the POSITION
This position assists the Sr. Associate Athletic Director for Development with cultivation and fundraising efforts within and outside the Greater Las Vegas area for seventeen women's and men's sports programs. This position will be expected to identify, cultivate, and solicit major gifts, maintain and evaluate on-going giving potential, and supervise and manage office operations in the absence of the Sr. Associate Athletics Director for Development.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university and a minimum five years related professional related experience. In addition, successful candidate must possess excellent communications (both written and oral), interpersonal, and public relations skills; must be able to work with and maintain confidential information and materials; possess working knowledge of all NCAA, MWC, and ICA rules and regulations; possess ability to multi-task and work weekends, nights, and holidays as need dictates; possess working knowledge of various computer programs; ability to supervise multiple direct reports.
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
