Athletic Training, Instructor/Assistant Professor
As the Athletic Training, Instructor/Assistant Professor you will teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels, as applicable; be involved in course and/or curriculum development; research/scholarship; participate on College and University committees and/or initiatives.

Teaching assignments may be on the main campus or at off-campus sites within our region.
Teaches at both undergraduate and graduate levels, as applicable. Be involved in course and/or curriculum development and student clinicals. Develops and carryout a research agenda that leads to publications; participate on College and University committees and/or initiatives.
Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Athletic Training from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent accreditation. Certification as an Athletic Trainer by the Board of Certification (BOC). Relevant Athletic Training Clinical experience with one year minimum and eligibility for licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the State of Florida. Must meet the University and College criteria for appointment to the level of Instructor I or Assistant Professor. Preferred Qualifications: Earned doctorate (e.g. PhD, EdD, ScD) in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, Biomechanics, Human Movement Science, Kinesiology, Rehabilitation Sciences or related field from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent accreditation. Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited university recognized by the US Department of Education (USDE). Two years full-time teaching in a CAATE-accredited professional or post-professional Athletic Training program.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Experience or commitment to the use of technology in distance learning & university teaching. Interest in collaborating both within and outside the University in the development and delivery of instruction resulting in improved student learning. Must value continued scholarship and service to the school and university.
Special Instructions to Applicants: Appointment will be made at a faculty rank commensurate with the candidate's experience on a 12-month multi-year appointment basis available August 2017.
