| The University of Indianapolis seeks applicants for an assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach in the Athletic Department. This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt staff position. |
The assistant coach reports to the head coach and is responsible for assisting with all aspects of coaching, recruiting, scheduling, and managing the men’s intercollegiate lacrosse program within the policies of the University of Indianapolis, Great Lakes Valley Conference, and NCAA DII.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required and the candidate must have collegiate lacrosse experience as a player and/or coach at the intercollegiate Division I or II level. Additional qualifications expected are a commitment to the philosophy of NCAA Division II scholarship-level intercollegiate athletics and a dedication to compliance with that philosophy and the policies of the University of Indianapolis, the Department of Athletics, and the NCAA; the ability to recruit and provide leadership for student-athletes capable of academic, athletic, and social success in a competitive academic and athletics environment; and the interpersonal qualities and skills necessary to work effectively with student-athletics, colleagues, and administrators.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree preferred
