QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Graphic Design or equivalency, and demonstrated human relations and strong organizational, oral and written communication skills required.
Successful applicants will have strong writing skills with a writing sample, portfolio, grant writing, graphic design, website development and maintenance, fundraising and public relations experience. Microsoft Word & PowerPoint advanced skills.
Demonstrated effective communication skills; the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and a commitment to provide excellent customer service required. In addition, candidate must possess: knowledge and experience working across sports marketing, promotions and advertising, for an Intercollegiate Athletics Program; a strong understanding of how best to leverage Digital Social/Media in order to support revenue generation goals and encourage greater donor engagement.
Preference will be given to those who are proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and PowerPoint, Dreamweaver, Aldus Freehand and Quark XPress software programs. – Design experience, portfolio demonstrating applicant’s design work
Athletic fundraising and/or athletic marketing experience in a collegiate setting and experience with donor base management preferred.
Two years fundraising experience, website development and demonstrated graphic design experience is strongly preferred.
Experience which includes fundraising, grant and publication writing, planning and implementing special events and programs and a successful track record in raising donations is preferred.
Knowledge of all applicable NCAA rules and regulations preferred.
