Graduate Assistant Coach University of Redlands DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND ATHLETICS
Position Title: Graduate Assistant Coach Softball
Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting the Head Coach with all aspects of an NCAA Division III softball program, including compliance with NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations, student recruitment, contest scheduling, budget management, coaching and other duties assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and admission to the School of Education or School of Business graduate program at the University of Redlands is required. Previous participation and/or coaching experience preferred. The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of the NCAA Division III philosophy and the role of physical education and athletics within a private, liberal arts, academic setting.
Appointment: 12-months, renewable for a 2nd year
Compensation: Tuition remission and a $600 bi-weekly stipend. Candidates should be aware that the graduate tuition remission benefits are taxable under the current IRS Tax Code. In addition, as a student in this capacity, eligibility to a meal card is available.
