| The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Department of Athletics is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Coach for Men’s & Women’s Track and Field. Responsibilities include assisting the head coach with all aspects of the Division I Track and Field program including but not limited to practice/competition activities, player skill development, recruiting and overall administrative tasks within the operation of the program. |
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; successful intercollegiate coaching experience and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations preferred. Strong interpersonal communications skills, integrity, leadership, and a thorough knowledge of the sport are required. Must possess a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit academically qualified student-athletes. The ability to coach at least two disciplines is preferred; pole vault/ throws /Jumps horizontal and vertical/, sprints/hurdles.
