The Assistant Athletics Director for Development and Marketing will be responsible for: development and implement of a comprehensive marketing and promotions plan to generate revenue and attendance for all sports; solicitation and fulfillment of corporate sponsorships and business partners; coordinating in-game promotions for all sports; assuming game management duties as assigned; serving as athletic department liaison with radio network affiliates, licensing company, local schools and selected other departments on campus; serving on various university student program committees; supervising interns, graduate assistants, and/or student volunteers as recruited and other duties as assigned.

Bachelor degree required, Master's in Athletic Administration or related field preferred. Prior experience in athletic marketing or a related field preferred. Prior experience with graphic design and TV commercial production a plus.
Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana is a member of the Southland Conference and competes at the Division I level in 14 sports. Northwestern State University was established in 1884 in the old Bullard Mansion atop a hill overlooking the bustling river port city of Natchitoches. The campus grew as the school expanded from a two-year degree for teachers at Louisiana State Normal ...School to the four-year education degree at Louisiana Normal College in 1921.
