The successful candidate will serve as the Head Diving Coach, reporting to the Head Swimming & Diving Coach, and will lead the men's and women's diving student-athletes in practices and competitions. The coach will recruit prospective student-athletes, monitor academic progress of swimming & diving student-athletes, assist with practice planning, communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, alumni and administrators. The assistant coach will perform various duties within the department.
Bachelor's degree required, previous collegiate coaching or competitive diving experience preferred. The successful candidate should possess solid organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills, and have the ability to identify and attract outstanding student-athletes to Union College. Candidates must have an understanding of NCAA rules, along with a philosophy compatible with a multi-classified liberal arts college with highly selective academic standards. Candidates must be safety conscience and able to work with a diverse group of students.
