Athletic Trainer 2 Penn State Brandywine, located in Media, PA is seeking an Athletic Trainer. The Athletic Trainer will deal primarily with moderate risk physical activities and based on and experience and training, will provide coverage of athletic team events and provide athletic training services to physically active individuals within the campus community. The Athletic Trainer will design and guide training programs for athletic teams, club sports and individual students. The individual will assist with oversight of the weight training and aerobic facilities. This job requires a flexible work schedule to include evenings and weekends as needed in support of varsity sporting events throughout the year. This job also requires the individual to participate and be active in service to our campus. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher (Master's degree preferred) or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires a NATA-BOC Certification.
Individual must be a PA State Licensed Athletic Trainer. This is a Fixed Term appointment funded for one year from the date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding. This is a 75% full-time equivalency (FTE) job. Work schedule for this job will be August 15th - May 15th. Full Penn State benefits included.
