Texas State University is seeking applications for the position of Business Operations Coordinator (Accounting Clerk II) for the Texas State Athletic Department, under the direction of the Assistant AD for Business Operations. This position is a full-time, benefits eligible position.
The position will assist with duties related to the overall operations of the athletics business office, including procurement, travel, accounts payable and personnel actions to support the overall mission of the department.
Responsibilities include: prepare invoices for payment; reconcile payments to the university financial system; create and process requisitions and purchase orders; assist with the procurement card program; assist with Adidas equipment ordering; assist with the student and temporary employment program; make reservations and process individual travel paperwork; assist with team travel management; maintain positive relationship with vendors and university accounting, purchasing and travel office staffs; understand and implement department policies and procedures; other duties as assigned.

bachelor’s degree with additional consideration for master’s degree
prior work experience in accounting or related business operations
prior work experience in collegiate or professional athletics
