The George Washington University, an NCAA Division I member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, invites applications for the position of Assistant Coach, Softball. Responsibilities will include assistance in oversight of the Softball program, including but not limited to, recruiting student athletes, budget management, community relations, coaching and development of student athletes, alumni engagement, budget management, and student athlete academic success. Performs other related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate significant knowledge in the sport of Softball, and proven success as a Division I Softball Coach. A strong commitment to the academic success of student-athletes through graduation, knowledge of and commitment to University, Conference and NCAA regulations, good communication skills and strong leadership is highly desired.
