| Grove City College announces an opening in the Athletics Department for an Interim Assistant Athletic Trainer. This position will begin immediately and continue until the end of the academic year (May 2017). This position will be responsible for prevention of athletic injuries and illnesses, evaluation of athletic injuries, treatment of athletic injuries, providing counseling and education to student athletes, athletic training administrative duties, assisting with coordination and scheduling of medical coverage for home and away competitions, education and recruitment of student and graduate assistant athletic trainers, recordkeeping and documentation, working with doctors and other allied health professionals to deliver care to student athletes, and other duties as assigned. |
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in health or a related field, with current NATA certification. One to two years in athletic training setting is preferred. Entry level graduates with NATA certification will be considered.
