The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is accepting applications for the position of Multimedia Production Assistant which is a full-time internship. This is a contract, full-time position with a targeted salary of $33,073/year with full health benefits and membership in the UC Retirement Plan. The Multimedia Production Assistant, under the supervision of the Associate Director, Television & Creative Content will gain a wide range of experience that will prepare him or her for a successful career in the multimedia field. Duties will include, but not be limited to writing/editing/producing feature content for the official athletic website and social media channels, logging and creating highlights for use on the official athletic website and social media channels, contributing in the maintenance of the official athletic website, music sourcing and archiving video.

The selected individual will have strong knowledge about the various aspects of video production. Editing experience is required. Candidates need to possess strong interpersonal skills, proficiency with Adobe Premiere and video camera operation. This position does require weekend and evening hours. All applicants should also demonstrate the following abilities: graphic design; strong knowledge of related computer programs, including Photoshop and Adobe Premiere; knowledge of the Internet and YouTube, including how to post and update material on the official athletic website; social media skills; ability to multi-task and work on deadline. Continued employment is contingent upon completion of satisfactory background investigation. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Candidate must possess ability to adhere to and comply with Department, University, NCAA and PAC-12 rules and regulations.
