Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Deputy Athletics Director, External Affairs and Resource Development, serve as the Director of Ticket Sales, Service & Operations with the primary responsibility to plan, organize, and supervise comprehensive day-to-day sales strategies and plans, customer service philosophy and execution, and the back-end operations of the Athletics Box Office. This includes short and long-range strategic planning and ticket sales revenue forecasting. Receives assignments from the Deputy AD in the form of sales and revenue goals, will have specific sales metrics, and develops the strategies to meet those goals. Will design and implement a customer service philosophy and training program across all ticket sales and operations staff. Provides supervision, guidance and direction to other Sales Specialists, Operations, and Customer Service and Retention staff.

Compensation: $4,741.67 - $8,533.33/month

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a sport-related or equivalent field in ticket sales management. Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, concepts, techniques and applications relevant to the field of promotion and advertising. Skill to develop, design and implement creative promotional and advertising strategies. Advanced written, visual, interpersonal communication and political acumen skills. Analytical and research skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Intercollegiate Athletics. Knowledge of UC Davis, including its achievements, mission, goals, vision, and objectives. Knowledge of campus and state and federal laws pertaining to marketing and advertising issues and concerns and other related policies or laws. Skills and experience to mentor less experienced staff.
