Position Description: Responsible for the organization and administration of all facets of the men's soccer program to ensure a quality program and successful Division 1 team. Recruits athletes and oversees their training. Monitors and supports academic success of student athletes. Builds and maintains a public awareness of the program. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and five or more years progressively responsible experience coaching soccer at the NCAA division I collegiate level. Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA division I rules. Commitment to student athlete's success. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license and ability to establish driver eligibility under the University's Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy.
Preferred Qualifications: Head coaching experience at the NCAA Division I level in collegiate soccer. Successful collegiate recruiting experience. Familiarity with the Northeastern Ohio region. Demonstrated commitment to diversity. Coaching experience in a metropolitan college/university environment.
