The Head Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for providing leadership and management for the Institute’s strength and conditioning programs. The Head Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for informing and educating Athletic Department personnel and student-athletes regarding all policies and procedures integral to strength and conditioning. The incumbent will seek program input, design strength and conditioning programs by sport and gender, mentor and supervise strength and conditioning staff and ensure the strength and conditioning program is engaged and functioning at a high level.
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Nutrition or other related field
3 year experience as a coach or assistant coach in the field of strength and conditioning
1 year of experience in the administration of a college level sports program
Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification and/or NSCA Certification
