ROLE of the POSITION
This position will serve as a member of the Rebel Athletic Fund (RAF) team and the UNLV Foundation. Must personally and professionally exhibit the mission of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Athletics by planning, organizing, and implementing strategies to increase the level of personal involvement and financial commitment of alumni and friends within and outside the Greater Las Vegas Area for the Intercollegiate Athletic Department. This position will not only be tasked with the responsibility of identifying and soliciting financial commitments for the RAF program, but overseeing the completion of processes and paperwork necessary to deposit all financial contributions. Finally, this position may be required to meet with prospective donors and clients off-site and will be required to network at all major games meets, special events, and functions.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university and a minimum two (2) years of related professional experience. In addition, successful candidate must have excellent communications, interpersonal, and public relations skills with an ability to speak and write in a professional, calm, and persuasive manner. Must possess working knowledge of NCAA policies and procedures, various computer systems, and an ability to cross-train on in-house programs such as: Advantage, Paciolan, and Raiser's Edge. Finally this position may require long, irregular hours during peak season, weekend and holiday work, and an ability to travel as directed by Athletic Director.
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
