| The Assistant Video Coordinator (AVC) will assist in the production of creative video needs for Maryland Football to include: development and execution of weekly plans to highlight unique Maryland Football through video; film team functions and events throughout the year; produce weekly team highlight, recruiting, and motivational videos. Capture video and still headshots of prospects during official visits. |
The Assistant Video Coordinator will also perform daily equipment checks and troubleshoot all audio, visual or technical concerning Gossett Football Team House and during road trips and bowl trips to ensure all equipment is functioning properly; film football practices and games; assist in the setup and support of team meeting rooms in Gossett Football Team House and during road and bowl trips. Travel with the football team for away trips and bowl games.
S/he will coordinate official visit technical needs with Video Coordinator; establish the annual calendar of video shoots and projects; and research and implement new video editing techniques, content management, and camera technologies. The incumbent will assist the Video Coordinator in maintaining a workable library of game/highlight archives and routinely backup media and video projects, as well as maintain the inventory of all audio/video/technology equipment and related supplies.
The AVC will also support the hiring of student staff, and train student staff in creative video techniques and execution; assist in the coordination of student staff responsibilities; and perform other duties as assigned by the Video Coordinator, Director of Football Operations, Director of Player Personnel, and/or Head Football Coach.
