| The University of Pikeville (UPIKE), the Leading University in Central Appalachia is actively seeking candidates for its Assistant Baseball Coach. UPIKE is an NAIA School that competes in the Mid-South Conference. |
The central focus for the Assistant Baseball Coach is to provide assistance and support to the Head Baseball Coach and Baseball team of the University of Pikeville by performing the following responsibilities:
•Prepare the baseball team, facilities, and all other needs prior to team practices and games, both home and away.
•Perform as the Assistant Varsity Coach/Pitching Coach.
•Perform as the Head Junior Varsity Coach.
•Perform as the Head Recruiting Coordinator.
•Oversee the preparation and maintenance of the baseball field.
•Supervise academic process of all team members.
•Maintain team uniforms.
•Other duties as assigned.
1.Bachelor’s Degree required.
2.Athletic background preferred, but not required.
3.At least 3-5 years exerpience with baseball and coaching.
4.Must be familiar with conducting research online, as well as creating online travel arrangements.
5.Must be familiar Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel ,PowerPoint, Outlook, Etc.)
6.Must have experience working with office equipment, e.g. computer, printer, fax machine.
7.Must be able to perform simple calculations.
8.Must have excellent communication skills.
9.Must be able to travel.
