| Reporting to the Associate Athletic Director for Advancement, the Assistant/Associate Director for Athletic Advancement's primary focus will be working with University Advancement on marketing, stewardship, planning and implementation of engagement and fundraising strategies. Duties will include overseeing a comprehensive communication plan for donor engagement, stewardship, cultivation, direct mail and written proposals. Managing donor relations including written acknowledgement as well as strategically reviewing nontraditional communications such as social media as interactive communications to engage athletic donors, former student-athletes and prospects. Works on developing and implementing solicitation strategies for annual support. |
The incumbent will work with University Advancement on the marketing, planning and fundamental strategies of increasing engagement and fundraising activities. Other responsibilities include the oversight of communication to implementation of student engagement and donor engagement activities. Design, prepare, develop and implement marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, donor recognition pieces, donor annual report, donor benefit guides and solicitation pieces. The individual will be responsible for the designing of material as well as be able to verbally communicate advancement opportunities to constituents. This position works closely with various University departments and must be a leader and team player. Department collaborators include: (Alumni Relations, Annual Giving, Communications, University Advancement, etc)
