Bachelor’s degree required. In order to be considered, applicants must have a minimum of one year of successful coaching experience working with track and field athletes in the throwing events. An applicant will have demonstrated throws coaching experience and the organizational skills necessary to work in a comprehensive Track and Field program. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations preferred.
Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and criminal background. Finalists for the position must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process.
Anticipated start date of October 1, 2016. The position will require flexible hours that will likely include evening and weekend work. Compensation is hourly, consistent with Article 10 of the APSCUF Coaches Collective Bargaining Agreement.
