Under the supervision of the Athletic Director, duties for the Head Volleyball Coach will consist of managing and coaching the volleyball program, including, recruiting and advising athletes, public relations, fundraising and other responsibilities within the boundaries of the rules and regulations of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference, the National Junior College Athletic Association and Dodge City Community College. One assistant coach is on staff.
Prior collegiate coaching and recruiting experience in the sport
Knowledge of NJCAA and KJCCC rules and regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to advise and monitor student athletes
Ability to work with staff members and volleyball team members
Proven ability to work with diverse populations including traditional and non-traditional students
Valid Kansas driver’s license
