Associate Registrar for NCAA Compliance, Curriculum Maintenance, Degree Audit and Commencement
Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Associate Registrar for NCAA Compliance, Curriculum Maintenance, Degree Audit and Commencement in the Office of the Registrar.
The candidate would be expected to: report any and all suspected violations of NCAA rules and regulations and provide assistance and encouragement to any student-athlete that wishes to report potential violations, while adhering to the applicable rules and regulations set forth by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA ), the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC ) or any other conference or organization with which the University is or becomes associated with;
Coordinate the program evaluation and degree audit process and serve as the representative on both the Undergraduate and Graduate Studies Committees (USC & GSC ); create and maintain the academic program requirements;
Provide outreach to students and advisors regarding anticipated program completion and graduation procedures; routinely track degree progress, as completion nears; troubleshoot audit issues and direct students to appropriate resources; coordinate the graduation process for the Office of the Registrar (OR) and serve as the OR's representative on the Commencement committee.

Required Years of Experience: 3
Three years of experience with an integrated records system. Experience in the development and implementation of new products.
Must be able to perform regular duties with little or no functional guidance, referring unusual instances to the Registrar.
Must possess good presentation skills, as well as strong planning and organizational skills. Ability to be an effective leader with good judgement and make decisions in a timely manner using proven problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative problem analysis. Ability to set priorities and identify areas of concerns.
Possess supervisory skills and a proven leadership style which will facilitate the guidance of the Registrar’s Office staff toward realization of organizational goals. Ability to take responsibility of key organizational issues, showing good judgement and the ability to set time lines and meet deadlines.
Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree and equivalent experience.
Ablility to set priorities and identify any areas that require further research. Supervisory experience and skills for leading a team of workers toward the completion of University goals.
