| Montgomery County Community College invites applications for a Women’s Basketball Head Coach, Temporary Part-Time. The head coach will: • Execute a clearly defined philosophy of coaching and teaching “sport.” • Recruit sufficient qualified student-athletes. • Manage budget responsibly. • Effectively execute fundraising activities, including summer camps and clinics to meet teams’ financial goals. • Monitor student-athletes’ academic progress and provide support. • Organize retention initiatives in conjunction with the Director of Athletics, including enforcing academic support plan and supporting the Completion Agenda of the College. • Display a commitment to equality in player development and training. • Scout and prepare team for competition. • Comply with College, NJCAA, EPAC rules and regulations and all other aspects of directing a quality intercollegiate basketball program. • Follow rules and guidelines set forth in the Coaches handbook. Qualifications: • Associate’s degree and relevant coaching experience. • Knowledge of NCAA and NJCAA rules and compliance. • First Aid and CPR certification • Valid Driver’s License |
