The Brooklyn Italians Soccer Club is seeking youth soccer coaches who have a passion for teaching the game of soccer.
Candidates should have experience coaching youth soccer and a desire to work in a collaborative team environment. Coaches will work within the Brooklyn Italians system and curriculum and provide team coaching to youth players. Teams compete in various leagues including the NPL.
Preferred candidates should have the following:
USSF "E" license (working towards or a desire to obtain) or NSCAA Diploma
Experience coaching youth soccer
Ability to work with coaching staff
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to work nights and weekends
Additional Salary Information: Per month based on experience
About The Brooklyn Italians Soccer Club
In 1949 the Brooklyn Italians Soccer Club was born. The club was formed and became one of the earliest teams in the New York City area. The newly formed soccer club competed in local leagues in the area against rival social clubs.
The Brooklyn Italians Soccer Club won the US Open Cup in 1979 and in 1991.
The club hosts two major US tournaments, the Christopher Columbus Cup and the New York City Indoor Classic. In the past few years the club has grown exponentially in the New York City area and the brand grown in popularity. The first team participates in the National Premier Soccer League. The club finished in first place in the Atlantic Division in 2011 and 2013. The club placed second in 2010 and 2012. The youth sector competes in the New York Club Soccer League. Our teams travel yearly to the Dallas Cup, Vincenzo Romano Torneo in Rome and many other tournaments.
