Whatcom FC Rangers is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Director of Coaching (three positions). Each ADOC will be responsible for overseeing an age group and performing one of the administrative duties listed below, with additional duties assigned as needed. Successful candidates will also be required to coach 2-3 teams per year.
The age groups available are:
U9-U12 Boys and Girls
Administrative Duties Include:
Training schedule coordinator
Recreational/Select Program Liaison
Minimum USSF D License, with ability to earn USSF C License within 1 year
3-5 years of experience coaching at the club or college level
Ability to work an unconventional schedule, including nights and weekends as needed
Experience managing camp and supplemental training programs
Excellent communication skills
Computer proficiency in producing documents, training outlines, and presentations
The ability to work in a professional, team orientated environment
USSF C License
College or Professional playing experience
Previous experience as a club DOC, ADOC, or Age Group Coordinator
National Youth License
Additional Salary Information: This is a full time position with an anticipated salary of $35-$45K, based on experience. We also offer an annual coaching education/professional development allotment, coaching apparel, and training equipment. Anticipated start date is May 1, 2018.
