Boise State Athletics Assistant Coach, Women’s Soccer
Position Overview: Boise State University invites interested applicants for the position of Assistant Coach, Women’s Soccer. The successful applicant will become part of our team as we build a Metropolitan Research University of Distinction. The individual in this position is responsible to help run and maintain a Division I program through recruiting, on-field teaching techniques, scheduling, monitoring academic progress, budget management, fundraising, as well as promoting the sport throughout the University and local community.. The incumbent shall have a strong working knowledge and understanding of all NCAA rules and regulations regarding compliance issues. Any violation of a conference or NCAA regulation, as well as those policies of the University, could cause dismissal of a participant or staff member, as well as, create negative publicity and/or conference or NCAA standings to the program and institution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Have coaching responsibility on the field as determined by the Head Coach
Be responsible for recruiting and evaluating prospective student-athletes
Assist in the program’s on and off campus recruiting efforts
Mentor and assist in the overall development of student-athletes
Assist the Head Coach in multiple additional aspects of the Women’s Soccer Program
Be responsible for maintaining NCAA, Conference and Boise State rules Compliance
This position will be required to work nights and weekends, as well as, overnight travel when necessary

Minimum Qualifications (Including Certificates and Licenses):
Four (4) years of experience in similar position at Division I/II level
Knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules and regulations regarding compliance issues.
USSF C License
Knowledge of individual and team skills with the ability to teach these skills
Experience recruiting student-athletes
Excellent written, interpersonal and oral communication skills
Administrative experience with an emphasis on camp logistics
USSF B License
Collegiate/professional playing background and experience at the Division I level
Extensive club coaching experience
Conveyable recruiting network
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
