Cameron University is seeking to fill multiple graduate assistant positions within the Athletic Department. Duties for all positions include, but are not limited to: assist head coach and coaching staff in daily operations of specific program, hands-on coaching, recruiting, community involvement, facility maintenance, and monitoring the academic progress of the program's student-athletes. All responsibilities will be assigned by the Head Coach including adherence to all rules and regulations of Cameron University, the Lone Star Conference, and the NCAA. Graduate Assistant positions to be filled: Baseball, Men's Basketball, Men's Cross Country/Track, Women's Cross Country/Track, Softball, Sports Information, Athletic Training, and Strength & Conditioning.
Minimum Qualifications: candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and a willingness to learn the entire operations of running the athletic program, must have an outgoing personality with the desire to enter the coaching or specific field as a career after obtaining a Master's degree, and candidate must have strong communication skills and a positive work ethic. Athletic Training GA must have a current CPR/First Aid certification and obtain a NATABOC certification within the first six months of employment and licensed by the state of Oklahoma or eligible. Strength & Conditioning GA must have current CPR/First Aid certification and be CSCS certified upon start of employment.
