Position Description: Graduate Assistant in strength and conditioning beginning fall 2018.
Responsibilities: The graduate assistants will work alongside the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in the organization, design and implementation of all aspects of strength and conditioning program for a NCAA Division III intercollegiate athletic program. The graduate assistant will work a maximum of 15 hours/week. Qualifications: Certification or working towards certification for the CSCS by the NSCA, SCCC by the CSCCa, &/or USAW. AED/CPR certified required. First Aid certified required.
General Information: Before assistantships are reviewed, you must first apply for and be admitted to the graduate program in the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences. Graduate assistantships are reviewed separately and only after admission has been granted and assistantship applications have been received. The assistantships are available for full-time matriculated graduate students (MS degree only.) For the 2018-19 academic year, a student can choose from a concentration in exercise physiology, sport psychology or human performance. The MS degree can be completed in one academic year with one summer session.
