Temple University, a Division I member of the American Athletic Conference, is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Graduate Extern, Administrative Assistant in Recruiting & Football Operations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Supervise, lead & mentor twenty-five student workers with day to day recruiting operations
•Maintain recruiting database, organize mailing system, update summer camp data, prepare recruiting board, organize full time coaching staff
•Handle on-campus recruiting visits & home game prospect visits
•Liaison with compliance and admissions offices with processing prospective student athletes paperwork
•Assist with team travel during the regular season; coordinate team functions/activities throughout the year, and daily operation duties.
•Other duties as assigned
This is a 12-month position (beginning January 1, 2018) working with the Temple Football recruiting department. Compensation includes a monthly stipend. Tuition and housing are not included. Required Education & Experience:
An undergraduate degree in Sport Management or related field and acceptance into a full-time Temple University graduate program. Previous experience in football recruiting is required.
