Under the direction of the Head Coach, you will help run the inter-collegiate Field Hockey program at Harvard. You will help instruct and develop student athletes; assist in making strategic decisions in contest situations; assist in developing and implementing the overall recruiting strategy; handle administrative responsibilities associated with the program operations, including recruiting logistics and planning, team travel details, and equipment ordering; and assist in fundraising efforts and running special events. Ideally, you have a Bachelor’s degree; at least 4 years’ experience coaching or playing collegiate field hockey; outstanding technical, tactical and strategic knowledge of field hockey; strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse group of athletes, administrators and University constituents; strong skills with Microsoft Word and Excel; and basic video filming, editing and analytical ability.
