Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Compliance & Student-Athlete Affairs, the Compliance Coordinator provides excellent service to student-athletes, coaches, and institutional staff members. The Coordinator is responsible for maintaining compliance with all NCAA, conference and institutional regulations and for providing support, guidance and leadership to Temple University student-athletes. The Compliance Coordinator also performs other duties as assigned.
•Primary contact for select sport programs for all compliance functions (interpretations, waivers, review of paperwork)
•Provide compliance support and interpretations for coaches
•Monitor practice and competitions
•Review and approve playing and practice season declarations
•Monitor and oversee all aspects of recruiting for Olympic Sports
•Oversight of National Letter of Intent and Athletic Scholarship Program
•Monitor and approve official and unofficial visits
•Oversee approval process for camps and clinics (including brochures and advertisements)
•Coordinate usage of recruiting software and student-athlete management program
•Produce, send and ensure receipt of transfer releases and permission to contact letters
•Review and approve all activities involving student-athletes and promotional activities, employment, and other requests
•Develop content, produce and distribute monthly compliance newsletter
•Develop projects for student interns
•Serve as admissions liaison – maintain communication with Admissions staff and coaches
•Coordinate pre-evaluations for incoming freshmen and transfer students
•Provide reports to coaches about application status, missing documentation, etc.
•Perform certification of academic honor awards in conjunction with the Office of Admissions
•Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of experience in sports administration and compliance. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

*Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office.
