ROLE of the POSITION
This position will direct and oversee the fiscal and business operations of the UNLV Athletic Department and will be responsible for strategic financial planning, the creation and implementation of capital and /or operating budgets, and the development and management of financial control systems. Successful candidate will serve as a member of the Executive Staff, reporting directly to the Director of Athletics, and will also serve as a Sport Administrator overseeing one to two Division I sports and Equipment Services.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university and three (3) years related professional experience. Master's Degree preferred. In addition, successful candidate must possess exemplary business and financial management skills as well as possess a strong understanding and knowledge of athletics on a national scale.
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
